Cloverleaf Infrastructure said Friday morning it has entered into a strategic partnership with Nvidia, a part of which includes a "minority investment" from the latter to support the build-out of AI factories.
The investment will enable Cloverleaf, founded in 2024, to help its customers and utility partners meet increasing demand for accelerated computing.
"AI is accelerating demand for digital infrastructure at an unprecedented scale and driving strong economic development opportunities for American communities," David Berry, co-founder and CEO of Cloverleaf, said in a press release. "This partnership strengthens Cloverleaf's ability to identify and develop high-quality sites that provide the compute power for our country's growth and security. Together, we will help America's businesses and workers gain a critical edge."
While exact terms of the investment weren't disclosed, The Wall Street Journal reported that Nvidia is "expected to invest several hundred million dollars."

This partnership is the latest example of Nvidia, the most valuable company in the world with a $5.1-trillion market cap, expanding its role beyond supplying the chips that power AI systems and investing directly in the infrastructure needed to deploy them.
Among deals struck this year alone, IREN saw its stock surge more than 25% after linking up with Nvidia to accelerate the deployment of next-gen AI data centers. Nvidia also invested $2 billion in Nebius as part of a partnership to develop hyperscale AI cloud infrastructure, along with billion-dollar deals with CoreWeave and SB Energy.
Cloverleaf will use the NVIDIA DSX Platform to bring site, power, cooling, computing and facility decisions together earlier in the design process. This helps customers deploy AI infrastructure faster and within available power, water and grid constraints. Cloverleaf customers will gain access to Nvidia's full AI factory stack, including accelerated computing, networking, infrastructure and platform software, and NVIDIA DSX.
