Adoption is AI in use: enterprise deployment, products built on models, labor-market effects, consumer usage, and sector case studies where the event is someone applying AI in the world. It is the residual bucket after Policy, Safety, Business, Models, and Compute. Klarna replacing agents is Adoption. A hospital rolling out a scribe tool is Adoption when the story is deployment, not a new model release. Watch volume here: if Adoption becomes a catch-all again, that is a signal to split later (for example Adoption versus Products/Consumer), not proof that topical tagging should replace event-based categories.
