Bitdeer's AI unit signed a 10-year deal for a new 67-megawatt data center campus in Malaysia.

The agreement lifts Bitdeer's secured AI cloud capacity to roughly 273.5 MW, while the value of its potential customer contracts surpasses $10 billion, according to a Friday release.

The campus, named A901, will become the company's third Malaysian data center campus in its portfolio, alongside existing hubs in Cyberjaya and Johor Bahru.

Bitdeer expects the campus to come online in the first quarter of 2027 and reach its full 67 MW capacity sometime in the second quarter.

"Customers are asking for it earlier and in larger blocks," Bitdeer CFO Michael Potter said of AI capacity demand in Southeast Asia.

The deal puts Bitdeer nearly 80% of the way to its target to deliver 350 MW by the first quarter of 2028.

It follows a September agreement for its 65.1 MW A202 facility in Johor, expected to be energized in Q3 2027. Separately, capacity at Bitdeer's 9.5 MW A102 facility in Cyberjaya sold out before coming online, with $800 million in expected revenue from those contracts.

Bitdeer stock (BTDR) is trading flat on the day at $9.75. The stock is down more than 16% year-to-date.
